As an acronym, BIA stands for: Boundless Intentional Action

As a symbol, BIA represents the greek goddess BIA.

BIA was the goddess of force, power, might, bodily strength and compulsion. Bia is a quiet and stoic goddess, who is usually silent in the myths. She appears as a beautiful, youthful, radiant and powerful goddess… on her guard and always ready in the face of battle.”

BIA Athletic Club transcends typical fitness apps or workout programs – it embodies a lifestyle, motivating us to take action daily.

Meet the Team

Whether you need guidance with your workouts or your nutrition (or both!) our team has you covered. Leigha and Bri have the education and experience to get you from A to B, but most importantly, they care about you as a person. Read below to learn more about your coaches.


  • Founder and CEO

    Leigha's fitness journey began in 2009 during high school when she discovered her passion for lifting weights. This love for strength led her to pursue a major in Exercise Science in college, complementing her lifelong dedication to dance since the age of 3, which she continues to pursue in Los Angeles, CA.

    Dedicated to continuous growth, Leigha earned her CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) in July 2022 through the NSCA. Recently, she also became a Certified Pre- and Postnatal Coach as well as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Coach.

    With a wealth of experience dating back to 2016, Leigha has successfully trained numerous women, helping them achieve diverse goals such as completing half marathons, increasing deadlift maxes, sustainable fat loss, postpartum fitness, wedding preparation, and more.

  • Briana is a registered dietitian who specializes in sports. Her passion for nutrition, sports performance and wellness was birthed out of her own journey which began in high school. She earned her bachelor’s in public health and her masters in public health and nutrition at the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, Briana competed in the shot put, hammer throw and weight throw for the Track & Field Team.

    Briana has worked with collegiate and professional athletes and is also passionate about intuitive eating and body positivity. She desires to help others reach their health and fitness goals by building sustainable habits & a balanced lifestyle.
